Berbagai persiapan tentunya dilakukan karena memang ibadah ini memerlukan persyaratan 'kemampuan' (al-istitho'ah), baik dalam hal finansial dan fisik, maupun dalam hal persiapan ilmu dan yang lebih penting lagi persiapan mental spiritual.

Wa sharrul Umoori Muhdathaatuhaa, Wa kulla Bid'atin dhaialah, wa kulla dhalatin fin-naar" Al-Hadith (Sahih Muslim). When I first clicked on the video above, I thought it was a tribute for a loved one whose presence we will miss, but it's actually a tribute about life - and all the ordinary events that actually make life worthwhile but is looked over due to its ordinariness.

Segala puji bagi Allah, Rabb semesta alam. Shalawat dan salam semoga selalu dilimpahkan Allah kepada penutup para nabi dan rasul, Muhammad S.A.W., beserta keluarga, sahabat serta seluruh pengikut mereka sampai hari kiamat nanti.

If we ask ourselves, or one another that question, how many of us can answer it without hesitation, without pause, and with conviction and certainty? Out of the three people I asked in my short field research (very short and very brief lol ), only one could provide the ready answer, without having to think for even three seconds why s/he chose Islam as the faith to follow.
